Nestlé launched its company-wide Gender Balance Initiative in 2008, after Paul Bulcke was appointed Chief Executive Officer. The initiative was formed to help prioritize gender as a dimension of diversity. Especially at management levels, Nestlé has committed to developing, advancing, and providing equal opportunities for women.
