Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP formalized their affinity group, Women@Weil, in 2005 with the objective of being the “firm of choice” for women lawyers. Women@Weil is present in each of the firm’s offices around the world, and each group is open to all women lawyers. By actively engaging in formal mentoring programs and participating in the formal and informal networking activities initiated by the Women@Weil and other affinity groups, the group learns about what is important to the women lawyers at the firm and develops ways in which to advance these programs and to educate others at the firm about these issues.
