Expertise | Biography
Laura Jenner has been heavily involved in Catalyst’s groundbreaking research, Career Advancement in Corporate Canada: A Focus on Visible Minorities. Laura’s current work at Catalyst includes leading the annual Canadian Census, serving as relationship manager for 30 Canadian members, and leading member event series. Ms. Jenner also works with Catalyst’s Advisory Services group in New York. Ms. Jenner has a strong interest in Canadian corporate governance, diversity in the professional service firm environment, work-life effectiveness, and performance management.
Prior to joining Catalyst, Ms. Jenner worked as a project officer on an institutional capacity-building project with the University of Toronto’s HIV/AIDS Initiative based in Windhoek, Namibia. Ms. Jenner has an honours undergraduate degree in International Development Studies—Gender & Development, from the University of Guelph, and a Master’s degree in Gender, Development, and Globalization from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Ms. Jenner has researched gender and development issues in South America, Southern Africa, and Canada.
