Expertise | Biography
Jennifer Kohler has both led and assisted on a variety of engagements with leading organizations, assessing workforce statistics, survey, focus group, and interview data to help provide strategic guidance around the design of diversity initiatives, while also building internal capability with clients. She is a co-leader of Catalyst’s Work-Life Issue Specialty Team and has experience in the Research department, where she assisted on Unwritten Rules: What You Don't Know Can Hurt Your Career, the 2007 Catalyst Census of Women Board Directors of the Fortune 500, and the 2007 Catalyst Census of Women Corporate Officers and Top Earners of the Fortune 500.
Prior to coming to Catalyst, Ms. Kohler received her M.A. in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, where she conducted research on work and family issues and the "opt-out revolution." She is currently at work on an entry regarding the “opt-out” phenomenon for the Sloan Work and Family Network’s encyclopedia. Prior to graduate school, she was an Analyst with Goldman Sachs in its Human Capital Management division. Ms. Kohler received her B.A. from Cornell University, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
