Our Expertise
Catalyst conducts research in three Practice Areas: Women in Leadership, Organizational Change & Effectiveness, and Women of Color/Visible Minorities. In each, we combine our knowledge of women and business with a global perspective to produce reports that not only gauge women's progress, but also provide action plans for advancing women at work.
A cross-section of our research and knowledge, Catalyst Metrics quantify women's experiences and include our annual Censuses of women board directors and corporate officers, our annual Catalyst Member Benchmarking Report assessing progress at member organizations, our hallmark Pyramids detailing women's representation at specific organizational levels, and our Business Case reports relating women's participation to financial performance.
We publish several different types of research and knowledge, most of which are available to the public and may be downloaded for free. Some offerings, designated with a circled M, are available only to users affiliated with Catalyst member organizations. Only member-affiliated users may download publications in our Making Change series, although the public may purchase copies.
