Krista Brookman
Krista Brookman was Vice President, Global Learning Products and Programs at Catalyst. In her role at Catalyst, Ms. Brookman lead special projects which included advising on and leading the strategy of research-based D&I diagnostic tools and skill-building initiatives, training and programs. This has included the creation and launch of innovative products and programs for Catalyst focused on leadership development and inclusion measurement that foster actionable and accountable D&I results. The results have been evidenced in successful desired learning outcomes for organizations, behavioral shifts for individuals, and mission impact and revenue results for Catalyst.
Ms. Brookman has spent over 20 years in business with her previous role at Deloitte. At Deloitte, Ms. Brookman directed the marketing efforts for Deloitte’s national manufacturing practice where she led the creation of the Women in Manufacturing initiative. In addition, she was the local marketing leader for Deloitte’s Women’s Initiative and Diversity & Inclusion programs.
Ms. Brookman is active in several professional community organizations including TEMPO and Milwaukee Women inc. At TEMPO, she co-founded the TEMPO Women’s Affinity Alliance which is the first-ever initiative to bring together women’s employee resource groups in the greater-Milwaukee area. In addition, she has served on the Board of Directors for Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast.
In 2017, she was elected to the Mequon-Thiensville Board of Education and currently serves as President of the Board.
Ms. Brookman was recognized as a “40 Under 40” by the Business Journal of Milwaukee and was nominated as a “Changemaker” by the White House United State of Women. In addition, she is a 2019-20 member of United Way’s Partnership MKE program. She has presented, moderated panels, and led workshops with organizations on D&I topics such as inclusive leadership, women in leadership, men as allies, ERGs, unconscious bias, and board diversity. In addition, Ms. Brookman has been quoted in Fast Company and presented at the Global Competitiveness Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Ms. Brookman received an MBA and BA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
