Tsukiko Tsukahara

Advisor to Catalyst, Japan

Tsukiko Tsukahara worked at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for more than 10 years, serving both MNCs and Japanese companies in the healthcare and financial industries, as well as others. At BCG, she successfully executed various organizational and cultural change management projects, and she experienced diversity management for US salesforces of large corporations. In addition, she spearheaded a Women’s Initiative at BCG, and developed an initiative to change work management effectiveness in the local Japan office. Because of these experiences, she firmly believes research-based evidence is important for busting myths about diversity and inclusion in business.

Tsukiko has also served the public at the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, where she dealt with large national projects including the construction of Kansai International Airport and hosting the Winter Olympic Games in Nagano.

Tsukiko has an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and BA in Economics from Tokyo University.
