Catalyst Names Shelley S. O’Connor of Morgan Stanley and Tiger Tyagarajan of Genpact to its Board of Directors (Media Release)
April 25, 2017New York City, N.Y. (April 25, 2017)—Catalyst announced today the appointment of two new board members: Shelley S. O’Connor, Co-Head, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Chairman, Morgan Stanley Private Bank N.A.; and NV “Tiger” Tyagarajan, President and CEO, Genpact. The global leaders were unanimously elected by current members of the Catalyst Board of Directors.

A member of Morgan Stanley’s Operating Committee, O’Connor has held a succession of senior leadership positions during her more than 30-year career with Morgan Stanley, including serving as Head of Field Management for Wealth Management with responsibility for the firm’s network of approximately 600 branches and 16,000 advisors, and as Chief Executive Officer of the Private Bank. She earned a BA from the University of California, San Diego.

Tyagarajan is credited as an industry leader who pioneered a new global business model and transformed a division of GE (formerly GE Capital International Services) into Genpact, a global professional services firm focused on delivering digital transformation for its clients with $2.57 billion in annual revenue. He has served in a number of senior leadership roles at Genpact and GE prior to his current appointment in 2011. Tyagarajan has a degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and an MBA, majoring in finance and marketing, from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He also serves on the Board of the Center for Talent Innovation (CTI) and is one of the founding supporters of the US chapter of the 30% Club.
