Jose M. Romero
After designing and executing the global MARC Alum learning and engagement strategy and elevating this community of advocates to the next level, Jose was promoted to Global Senior Director of Facilitated Learning Design. Through this role, he designed, developed, and executed the Catalyst corporate learning product suite and led workshop facilitation, group and team coaching sessions, and train-the-trainers and discussion guides for corporate Supporters across all levels. He also built, maintained, and upskilled the external pool of international expert facilitators and coaches. Jose enjoys developing DEI leadership, strategies, and cross-cultural competencies across diverse executive audiences worldwide and contributed to the innovation of the Knowledge Transformation and Solution Development team.
Jose brought to Catalyst his 18 years of diverse professional experience from four continents, the public and private sectors, multinational companies, small-to-medium enterprises, start-ups, governments, universities, social agencies, and non-governmental organizations. He is an energetic award-winning learning and development catalyzer.
He received his master’s degree with honors in international relations from Monash University of Australia and the National University of Singapore. He also graduated as a certified corporate coach, served as an Executive Committee board member at ICF Singapore and holds a business management degree.
Born in Malaga, Spain, Jose has lived in eight different countries, is a polyglot, and has a truly global mindset. This life journey has shaped his identity, his passion for multiculturalism, and his human-centered lifelong learning. He enjoys supporting teams and clients to achieve a positive impact in making the workplace—and society at large—a fairer and more inclusive place.
