Katy Breitenbach
Katy Breitenbach joined Catalyst in January 2011 to support the organization in advancing their diversity and inclusion efforts to create positive change for women and other diverse groups. As the Vice President, US Strategy & Corporate Engagement, Katy worked internally at Catalyst to support the Corporate Engagement team in the US and to support the global Catalyst field staff. Katy also held an external role managing Catalyst’s Midwestern and Southeastern regions and was dedicated to supporting, recruiting and developing Catalyst supporter organizations. Katy also sat on the Catalyst Speaker’s Bureau and frequently spoke at corporate events and conferences. As a public speaker, Katy’s areas of expertise were sponsorship, engaging men, working across generations, and navigating the unwritten rules in the workplace.
Prior to joining Catalyst, Katy worked in relationship management and global management consulting. She has worked with leading global organizations across a range of industries, including information technology, professional services, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and consumer goods. Katy received her BA in Political Science with a concentration in International Policy and Relations with minors in Communication, Environmental Policy and Politics, Organizational Leadership Supervision and Peace Studies from Purdue University.
