Rikia Birindelli-Fayne works with leading global organisations to create more diverse, inclusive and flexible workplaces. Furthermore, she is a frequent facilitator and speaker on a range of topics in diversity, equity and inclusion including mentoring and sponsorship, race and ethnicity in the workplace, unconscious bias, inclusive leadership and inclusive communication. Also, she frequently sits on the Catalyst Awards Evaluation Committee.
Before joining Catalyst, Rikia spent six years of her career working in the UK education sector carrying out projects related to additional educational needs and disabilities, community identity, and diversity and inclusion, giving her great insight on how organizations can practically build an inclusive culture. Also, whilst working in the education sector, she spent time volunteering in the community which has given her a deep understanding of the role of inclusion in society.
Rikia received her BSc in Psychology from the University of Bangor, Wales, and has a professional qualification in Project Management.
Living in Switzerland, Rikia is a UK citizen and has also lived in Barbados and the UK. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and international cuisine and dining experiences.
