The Future of Work is here. Workplaces are being redefined and transformed by disruptive events, social movements, shifting paradigms, and technological advancements. While the pandemic has had a devastating effect on women, particularly women of colour, in the workplace, we also see this as a watershed moment to make impactful change and build a better and more equitable future of work.
Join Catalyst on 21 April as we bring together a group of incredible thought leaders to inspire change and create impact. The Future of Work Summit will include:
- Highlights of the latest research on the Future of Work;
- Lessons for creating psychologically safe workplaces through empathy and trust;
- Key conversations about confronting racism, bias, and inequity in the workplace; and
- Resources to help your organization create an equitable and inclusive future.
Why Attend?
Be part of the solution. This is the first conference about the Future of Work that Catalyst is convening specifically for Europe. This one-day summit will identify steps needed to create better workplaces for everyone. Together, we will build an equitable future in which progress won’t pause.

Session 1
9.15– 9.45 |
Introduction to the Future of Work
The Future of Work is not something in the future; it is right now. What does the Future of Work mean to you? |
Session 2
9.45–10.45 |
Leading Inclusively With Purpose and Trust Is Essential for High-Performing, Innovative Teams
The pandemic is affecting everyone, but not in the same way, and is highlighting a need for a more inclusive leadership style in order to create psychologically safe workplaces. Catalyst research shows that the experience of being trusted is one of five defining features of an inclusive work environment, yet only 46% of employees report often or always being trusted at work. Trust must come from the top; can leaders narrow the trust gap through leading with empathy and purpose? What does leadership look like going forward? |
10.45–11.05 |
|
Session 3
11.05–12.05 |
Tackling Discrimination and Systemic Racism to Accelerate Gender and Racial Equity
Racism is a global issue. This is not a time for us to stay silent, yet there are no simple solutions. What can you do to engage in constructive dialogue and dismantle structures that systematically advantage some and disadvantage others? |
Session 4
12.05–1.05 |
What Skills Are Needed in the Future Workplace?
Experts predict that half the workforce will need to reskill in the next five years. Critical thinking and problem-solving top the list of skills greatly needed in the next five years—along with active learning, resilience, stress tolerance, and flexibility. How do we ensure we are developing skills today that create inclusive and equitable workplaces for women tomorrow? |
1.05–2.05 |
|
Session 5
2.05–3.05 |
Men Advocating Real Change (MARC): The Crucial Role of Men in Advancing Equity and Inclusion
As men still make up the overwhelming majority of leadership positions globally, their visible and vocal advocacy is essential in ensuring that workplaces of the future are equitable and inclusive. Drawing on key findings from Catalyst’s Engaging Men and Interrupting Sexism research, we will explore the unique responsibility and opportunity that men have to drive change and be credible and authentic advocates. |
