Annual Catalyst Awards Conference and Dinner March 8 on 2017 International Women’s Day with Dinner Chair David S. Taylor, CEO, The Procter and Gamble Company (Media Release)

New York City, N.Y. (December 15, 2016)—Catalyst today announced its 2017 Catalyst Awards Conference and Dinner will be held on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2017, at the New York Hilton Midtown. With the theme “Leadership Redefined,” the events will celebrate transformational leaders and innovative corporate initiatives that strive to accelerate progress for women in the workforce. More than 1,600 attendees, including CEOs, leading executives from top global corporations, professional firms, governments, NGOs and educational institutions will participate.

The Catalyst Awards Conference will offer one-of-a-kind solutions in sessions focusing on the impact of inclusive leadership, cultures and workplaces, including lessons learned from the soon-to-be-selected 2017 Catalyst Award-winning initiative(s), which are groundbreaking diversity and inclusion programs addressing the recruitment, development and advancement of all women.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Catalyst awarding corporate initiatives; since 1987, we have recognized 85 initiatives at 79 organizations around the world. Previous Catalyst Award-winning initiatives include those from Gap Inc. (Women and Opportunity, 2016), Chevron Corporation and Procter & Gamble (2015), Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Lockheed Martin Corporation (2014). The 2017 Catalyst Award-winning initiative(s) will be announced next month.

In celebration of the Catalyst Award-winning initiative(s), the Catalyst Awards Dinner will take place the evening of Wednesday, March 8, 2017. The Dinner chair is David S. Taylor, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer, The Procter and Gamble Company.

The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity, and Catalyst is pleased to be the thought leader for all those seeking parity in the workplace and the world.
