New York, New York, May 31, 2023 – Catalyst is now a Recertification Provider with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. This designation means that the global nonprofit’s workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion programming can offer recertification credits for SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP®) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP®) credentials.
SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP exams were launched in 2015 after years of research to define the behavioral competencies and knowledge relevant to today’s global HR professional. The SHRM BASK (Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge) is the framework for the certification exams.
“Catalyst has been helping create workplaces that work for women—and for everyone—for decades through our research, events, learning programs, and practical tools,” said Julie Nugent, Senior Vice President, Strategic Solutions & Products at Catalyst. “We are thrilled to be able to award professional development credits to HR professionals who are growing their skills and expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion with Catalyst.”
The SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP certifications have more than 120,000 certificate recipients in over 105 countries.
HR professionals may earn up to 4.75 SHRM Professional Development Credits through Catalyst at their enERGize event on June 7. This virtual event is designed to help employee resource groups (ERGs) engage in effective partnership across all levels of an organization.
