In recognition of Asian Heritage Month in Canada and Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the US, both celebrated in May, organizational leaders examined where we are now with regard to Asian and Pacific Islander women’s experiences in the workplace. This conversation aimed to create a deeper understanding of the unique experiences of Asian and Pacific Islander women in the workforce, particularly against the backdrop of systemic racism and acts of hate committed over the past two years. Speakers integrated lessons learned and best practices, as well as highlighted pivotal research from Catalyst, on using allyship to build an inclusive team culture.
