Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association (SGLBA) Inc. – LGBT Business and Social Networking in Australia (Practices)

The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association (SGLBA) was founded in 1981 as The Gay Business association. SGLBA expanded to include women in 1994, and currently has over 400 members. From its beginning as small social group, this association has become a focused and respected organization that offers extensive business and social networking opportunities. The diverse members of SGLBA represent LGBT individuals across the full spectrum of industries, employment types, and ages, including business professionals, private consultants, retirees, and students. The organization also includes straight allies who support the LGBT business community.
